How the platform works

Within a qualified scope, TCH reconciles customs, commercial and logistics data, runs the defined checks on covered populations, and manages the review of discrepancies by entity and across the group.

Six steps, in this order

Source systems stay in place. Each step uses the previous one; none is skipped.

  1. 1Customs, commercial and logistics flows
  2. 2Data reconciliation across systems
  3. 3Data consistency and completeness checks
  4. 4Review of covered risks and obligations
  5. 5Resolution, approval and retention of decisions
  6. 6Consolidated oversight by entity and across the group

Specialised controls on a common base

Modules are selected according to the scope, the jurisdictions, the sources available and the operations to examine. Each answers one question.

  • EU HS classification

    Is the classification substantiated?

  • Export Control classification

Do the product, the destination or the end use call for review?

  • Sanctions screening

Does the party present a potential match?

Modules developed. Activation follows the qualification of each scope.

Instruction, the shared case file

Once activated, a discrepancy is assigned to an owner, examined and approved with the material that supported the internal decision. The module is being finalised and is not yet open to users.

Customs Encyclopedia

Versioned public sources, nomenclature, BTI decisions and rules of origin, with the date and scope of each version. Activated per corpus and access right; a missing or partial corpus is stated as such.

What TCH retains for every decision

Isolated data

Each customer’s data is separated by organisation and entity. A dedicated environment can be provided by contract.

Dated and versioned sources

The public source used and its date remain identifiable whenever the case is reviewed.

Human authority

TCH prepares the case; the authorised reviewer makes the decision.

Complete history

The case retains the relevant steps, rationale and participants in a readable chronology.

Visible exceptions

Disagreements and matters that require another review remain visible.

Scope not verified

Checks that have not been performed are stated as clearly as the result that is available.

Questions of scope

We prepare the demonstration around your sources, the controls you need to cover and the decision process already in place.

What does TCH connect across customs, ERP and TMS?

TCH connects the objects that describe the same transaction, such as a declaration, an ERP purchase order, a TMS movement, a product or a party. Every connection preserves its source and follows the platform’s business data model.

What does TCH retain so that a decision can be reviewed?

The case brings together source versions, executed controls, rationale, participants, exceptions and checks that were not performed. It remains understandable without relying on an isolated comment.

How is the scope of a result stated?

The case separates established facts, executed controls, exceptions and matters still to be checked. The result applies only to the scope documented by its sources.

How are exceptions handled?

Every exception remains visible, qualified and assigned to a reviewer. It is not hidden in an aggregate metric or removed when the case is closed.

How is each customer's data isolated?

Data is isolated by organisation and, where the contract requires it, in a dedicated environment. If that environment is unavailable, processing is refused and the data is never redirected to a shared space.

How does a demonstration work?

We begin with your sources, the relevant controls and the decision process. The demonstration then covers a small number of representative situations without requesting sensitive documents during the initial contact.

Request a demonstration

Tell us which sources are available and which controls are concerned. No sensitive document is needed at this stage.
